its finally the weekends and this is our first road trip to
lu lin which is a 4a tourist attraction. It was a long 4hour journey to
lu lin town , with little toilet breaks and a professional driver we were able to reach the destination on time. The journey there was bumpy and rough as the roads were not constructed properly, however the view through out the journey was a
pleasant , views of
meadows and farm lands could be seen everywhere throughout the journey . Driving
thru the winding
mountainous road the works of mother nature could be seen everywhere, the journey from the foot of the
mountain was like a
roller coaster ride. Our first stop was water rafting at the
lu lin river , the currents was not as strong as i imagine it would be. Being on the raft one could see views that are hidden from the walking trail. Paddling down the river one could see small stalls of
illegal vendors peddling sticks of
BBQ food , drinks and
cigarettes. After the the rafting we went on to '
mei ren gu' which is another valley in the
mountain . Trekking through the
mountainous area under the hot sun was not a easy task to do after some serious
rafting activities nonetheless we carried on walking taking photos as we pass the rocky areas. i ended my day at the
restaurant for dinner and taking a nice warm bath .

my reflection
As the day ended , i have realise that nature is such a
beautiful thing looking at the locals working with nature to create these wonders. While visiting this tourist attraction i found the answer to one of my questions " why are people trying to hard to preserve nature?" i found the answer during this road trip was that people are trying hard to preserve these beautiful views for the future generations to enjoy these
scenic views. As a student from the city all i could see was tall
skyscrapers and houses however this short trip enable me to enjoy nature and this enables me to do more to preserve nature for our future generations
looks like you're having quite an eye opener there ming yu :) - selene cheh cheh
